Having grown up on a nursery, plants are part of who I am. I am passionate about the joy that gardens, and tending them, can bring into our everyday lives. I believe this is possible through good garden design, no matter what size your garden is or how knowledgeable you are.

With both horticultural qualifications and a diploma in garden design, my particular interest is in sustainable garden design. Both in terms of the environmental footprint of the materials, process and plants I specify. But also by considering wildlife and biodiversity from the very start of the process.

Plants are sourced from trade nurseries (normally within Kent) and other smaller nurseries. My preferred nurseries grow their plants in peat free compost, however for smaller orders I choose the most local nursery.
Plastic pots are donated to a project that can reuse them and compost bags are either reused or recycled. All compost that I specify is peat free and chippings FSC certified.

As a Pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers I abide by their Code of Professional conduct. I carry Public liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. I use the JCLI Homeowner Consultancy Agreement contracts for each project. Further details on request.
